Exactly WHY did you vote for obama? was it his color? why?

I sure some did just like some voted for McCain, Huckbee etc because they're white men or HRC because she's a white woman. I voted Barack not because he's black but because I want to be proud of my president again. I truly believe he will restore the respect for America around the world that President Bush has squandered. Obama's calm temperament, his ability to bring all kinds of people together and is progressive solutions to our nation's problem will be instrumental in helping us face challenges like global warming that we can no longer ignore. I want my son to grow up in the kind of America Obama's leadership will help us create. ;\
