I friend of mine has a Son that has a German Shorthaired Pointer. Heidi is 12 years old and has been hunting most of her life. To get combat jump wings was the objective. Why is it that when people get hypnotized they take off their shoes? In all the shows that I have seen they usually do it after they have gone under, so it can't be a comfort thing. So why do you think they do it? Most of the people you see doing it are pretty girls with pretty painted toenails, and they usually do it while deeply asleep and under. well, it does. its just not healthy. and you don't need to necessarily stop eating altogether. just eat small portions. that's one of the biggest factors in an effective diet that no one wants to recognize. what your mother went through forced her to eat smaller portions of food. she didn't exactly starve herself for days, which is what they usually mean when they refer to 'starving' oneself (even if she was hungry all the time). exercise will help because you burn calories, but then you have to make sure you don't make up for those burnt calories....thus essentially you are starving yourself because you have burnt tons of calories and only eaten a few.

Falling in love with brother in law after husbands death. what are your views?

This question is not for me, but for a friend/coworker of mine. Her husband Jeff, his brother Eric and Erics 8 year old son Connor, were in a horrible car crash nearly a year ago. Her husband Jeff and his nephew Connor died. Eric (who is unmarried by the way) was severely injured and spent about 2 months in the hospital and went through months of physical therapy. Tracy lost a husband and Eric lost a brother and son.Suddenly, Tracy and Eric were thrown together in their dispair and grief. Each leaning on the other. Each trying to be there for the other one. Well, in the months that followed the accident, Eric and Tracy got very close and are now in love. Have been an actual couple for about two months now. The problem is, that many family members on both sides and some friends of the dead husband, Jeff, are not happy with this and think that it is disrespectful to Jeff. Jeff and Tracy were happily married before he ped and like I said, Eric is unmarried. To me, I understand how two people can come together in grief and fall in love. I also think that Tracys husband would have wanted her to be happy again, and be with a good man. It will be a year in October since the accident. What are your views on this? Need help installing outlets.?

ok you guys have helped me out a lot so far so i think this should be my last question. I'm finishing a room in my basement and it currently has no outlets. there are two light fixtures in the room. i unscrewed one of the fixtures and found two black wires screwed to the backside. i cant tell which one of the wires is positive or negative. all i can see on the two wires is, rome cable 12wag and 600v. how do i go about wiring this power source from the light fixture into a few outlets? what type of wire would i need? any particular outlets i should buy? And how would i go about adding a light switch to the room? the way the lights are turned on now is just by screwing or unscrewing the light bulb.

ok so I'm friends with this guy and I really like him. But the weird thing is that he always denies that we're friends, even though we talk all of the time and have a lot in common, someone will say, "Oh yeah you guys are friends, you can work together." and then he'll be like, "friends? yeah right" or something. What do you make of a religious minister who does not practice what he preaches?

i know a guy who is a religious minister. he calls himself a reverend, although i think that this is a self professed title. He preaches well, or at least with good intentions i think. However, his own life seems a mess to me. I've heard allegations against him of ual misconduct within his marriage more than once and from more than one source. Including his ex-wife and some of my own relatives. I've personally seen him calling another woman his wife when I knew that there was no way that his divorce had been finalised as yet. I guess he tought he could marry himself to the new woman and it would be all right in the eyes of God as long as he felt that he had rid himself of all ties to his soon to be ex-wife. He lies, even about his age, and never seems to be able to settle down anywhere. As he puts it, "the devil is always on his tail". He tends to leave a mess behind wherever he goes, with people accusing him of all sorts of things, and i guess he just bails out after he decides he's had enough. His prophecies tend not to come true most of the time as well. What do you do with a person like this? His teachings are ok seem decent, but in his own life he seems very susceptible to temptations. would you trust a person like this?

I started leaking colostrum at 17 weeks. It happens earlier for some. I bought some pads, the ones you use while feeding to absorb it in your bra. As for the stretchmarks.. sadly they are genetic, you could rub all the lotion you want on them but they will still show up. The lotion is still good for the itching though.

So i've been saving money by not buying cable. While my friends are paying for their cable (which i watch!), i save on cable bills every month b/c i have an excellent antenna connection and I receive like 8 channels... abc, nbc, cw, mynetworktv, you know.. all the channels that matter. The only channels I would really benefit from cable is the discovery channel, TLC, the women's television network etc. b/c you can't receive those channels with an antenna no matter how hard you try. Anyways so now that this whole digital thing is coming up, i'm kinda screwed and i need some helping deciding on what to do. If i can find a cheap digital box (like $50 or so), then i'm gonna just get that for sure and go that route. But what if I can't find a cheap one? Should I just start paying for cable? I bought this honeysuckle from Home Depot this summer & it did well while in the temperate mountains of Arizona, when we moved to the desert in Sept, it survived the high temps ok until we moved it indoors for the winter. It's in an extremely well lit alcove now, but the brown spotting, yellowing & curling of the leaves that it has always struggled with is now defoliating my plant. Currently, in anticipation that it may be root bound (until I find a bigger pot for it) I have been putting ice cubes on the top of the soil so the slow melt allows the plant to absorb the water. I've tried this for 4-5 days, no help yet. Any other ideas?

Cooking chicken, help please..?

Very inexperienced cook, clearly, and was wondering, I defrosted some chicken (from package,) in the microwave, forgetting to rinse it BEFORE putting it in there. Therefore, it was completely unrinsed and when it was thawed it was white, almost cooked but not really.:p I immediately rinsed the couple of them (thighs,) and rinsed them well. Would they be okay or is the bacteria now absorbed in the meat? Anyway I then put the pieces on foil, making sides out of the foil, put them on the rack, yet it still made a crazy smokey mess (which of course sets of the fire alarm.) My opinion: With rescuing, most people don't look at pricing. These dogs have been abused and neglected that they need help, love, and companionship. I have met many people who have rescued dogs, and price never comes to mind and who are willing to put the time and effort to train abused and neglected dogs. Yes, there are some people who look at pricing, but these are the people who have never owned a dog or expierenced the responsibility of having a dog. Not to mention that there are animal shelters who have a kill policy after a number of days or weeks that many shelters emphasize on adopting or rescuing. I live close by to an animal shelter who would euthanize dogs after approximately 10 days due to the fact that there's way too much dogs and not enough room. So to answer your question, yes and no depending on the owners. To be honest, the question should be how to prevent owners from mistreating their dogs so they don't end up in animal shelters. Or what's a better plan to keep dogs from being neglected and abused... along these lines.

What brand/type of laser printer will allow me to print out very tiny small text and allow me to see it.?

The text size that i'm talking about is about the size of the size "1" text on microsoft word. I know that microsoft word will allow me to type this size, but when I zoom in, the type becomes extremely blurry, and I can't see the individual letters. My printer is an inkjet printer, so whenever I look closely at the image on the actual paper, all I can see is a blurred image. I don't know much about computers, but I was also wondering if I would need to buy a high resolution monitor to create small text which would bne printable. Should I travel, or shouldn't I?

Next year I am studying abroad in Ghana for the fall semester and London for the Spring semester. My goal is to become a travel writer, but I don' have any experience traveling completely alone, so I thought I might take this opportunity to try it out. I have been contemplating spending the month between semesters backpacking Europe, staying mostly in hostels. There are a few problems with this plan. For one, it will be winter. What do you think about traveling in Europe during the winter. Is it worth it? Also, I don't have a lot of money, and I'm worrying about running out. How much money do you think I would spend traveling alone in Europe (Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic) for one month? Another problem is that I will be missing the Holidays. My mom suggested that perhaps she will come and spend a week with me wherever I am during Christmas. It might work, but it would take a lot more planning than I was expecting. Lastly, I'm just a bit worried about getting my visas and everything. I kind of feel like I'm just taking off more than I an chew at the moment. My main draw is that I need practice, both traveling alone and writing. I haven't really done it before and I'm anxious to do it. My only other option really will be to wait until after I graduate to travel alone. What do you think?

( who is also brent's cousin) Me and him usually stay the night there together , but we decided to stay at his house the last 2 nights before this happened, and i just told my mom i was at Cindys. Well , i didnt wake up til about 2 hours later. i woke up to the cops at Brent's house. Turns out , they were looking for me. My mom put a amber alert out for me . as a runaway. I WASNT RUNNING AWAY. The cop put me in the back of a cop car, and took me to the court house were my mother was , they gave me a pee drug test and i failed it with Meth & weed. I DID NOT DO METH . and i smoked a few hits of weed. but anyways, they took Brent to jail for contributing to a minor , he got out on bail for 500 dollars. they made him sign a no contact order. were he can not see , text, or talk to me in ANY WAY. well , we did break it. i love that boy and i couldn't handle not talking to him . and he couldn't handle not talking to me. My "friend" Daniel , snitched. And told my mom me & brent was talking. (at first she said she was gonna let us talk no matter what the judge says , as long as i didnt talk to him until after court) she changed her mind when i lied to her about talking to him. We went to court and she told them we broke the no contact order. and he went back to jail and is still in jail. He gets out in 2 days Probably . but he has been in there for over a week. Also, they gave me a hair drug test and i ped it COMPLETELY. so don't accuse me of doing drugs. Also, the cop told me that even after i turn 18 that i still can't talk to Brent. EVEN IF ME AND HIM WANT TO. he will go back to jail. Can they do that? some people tell me that when im 18 im grown , and they cant tell me who i can or cant talk to as long as we go to court and get it changed. i know i wont be 18 for another 2 years and 9 months , and he might not be around then. but i atleast would want him as a friend. so please tell me if they really can do this? I have done nothing but cry , i wear his shirt to bed almost every night. i miss him. and my friend went and saw him in jail the other day and he told her to tell me that he loves me , misses me , and he promises things will be different. i miss him so much . and can barely stand to sleep without him. Please tell me when im 18 i CAN talk to him no matter who likes it. as long as we get the no contact order took off.

Since my dog is really big, we feed him two times a day, one and a half or sometimes two cups each time. And a little doggy treat in between. :) And sometimes, when I'm training him to fetch a ball or sit when I tell him to or to drop the ball, I give him a few pellets for reward.

I think a good short story should throw the reader right in the deep end and make them figure out what is going on. I'm just curious about people who have actually undergone torture (such as former POWs, concentration camp survivors, sadistic survivors and extreme child abuse survivors) and their opinion on water boarding. I know that John McCain is against torture but I know a woman who went through Auschwitz who is okay with it in the cases of extreme crisis.
